Pilates is a low-impact exercise program which can help to develop whole body strength, improve flexibility and achieve efficient movement and function. Pilates can be beneficial for all body types and all ages.



1:1 Initial Consultation
An Introductory class is necessary for any new clients to Core Focus This session will enable us to identify what are your Pilates goals and which activities you might be keen to return to doing or maybe you just want to get better at doing. We will complete a thorough movement assessment using our expert physiotherapy background. We will discuss any current or previous injuries and learn a bit about your medical history. We will look at aspects of your movements; your posture; your control and your muscle strength. Finally, if you are new to Pilates altogether we will run through the Pilates principals with you. All the information we gather in this introductory class will help guide your Pilates journey.
